I Am Not Stuck In The Past!

Why is it that some Christians, become so uncomfortable when you talk about your weaknesses in the context of knowing that you are a sinner saved by grace? When I talk about where I came from, it is not because I have not accepted my new position in Christ. I talk about it, and remember it- often because it keeps the magnificence of the cross, to redeem and make new, fresh in my mind. I love revisiting my past in that context. I can not be conscientious of a Savior- if I didn't have anything that I needed being saved from! When I recall my former condition of being a sinner, it magnifies the need that I had of a savior, hence drawing me closer to the one who rescued me from it all!
